- Magic Link (Email Login): Your email address.

- YouTube video URLs you submit for transcript downloads or post generation.
- Transcripts fetched or generated on your behalf.
- Number of requests made (to enforce free-tier and subscription limits).
- Timestamps of activity.
1.3 Payment Information
Payments for subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments, a third-party payment processor. We do not directly collect or store your credit/debit card numbers or banking details. We may receive and store:
- Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled).
- Transaction identifiers provided by Dodo Payments.
- Billing email address.

1.4 Technical Data
We may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and access times, primarily for security, debugging, and service improvement purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to:

- Authenticate your identity during login.
- Provide transcript download and post generation features.
- Enforce free-tier usage limits (up to 10 transcript downloads).
- Manage and verify your subscription status.
- Process payments through Dodo Payments.
- Improve, maintain, and debug the application.
- Communicate important updates, changes, or notices related to your account or the service.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Google: To authenticate your identity via Google OAuth, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Dodo Payments: To process subscription payments, subject to Dodo Payments' Privacy Policy.
- YouTube / Google APIs: Video URLs you submit are sent to YouTube's systems to retrieve available transcripts. This is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose your data if required to do so by applicable Indian law, a court order, or a lawful request by government authorities.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or operational reasons.
Usage data (such as transcript history) may be retained for a limited period for debugging and service improvement, after which it is deleted.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, as ThouHomar is currently in an experimental/beta stage, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the service at your own risk.

- Correct inaccurate or outdated personal data.
